| @[enarchay:25222] Yep pretty much, it's pretty much as the lyrics follow. | |
| Muse – Supremacy Lyrics | 9 years ago |

In my opinion the supremacy refers to god, or a god, making it related to religion. "Wake to see Your true emancipation is a fantasy" Like not believing in a Santa Claus, the religious fantasy. "Greatness dies Unsung and lost, invisible to history" Similar to losing the great Thor (god of thunder) - invisible to history, nothing of concrete evidence except for contradictory texts, written by ancient authors, many of them anonymous. "Embedded spies, brainwashing our Children to be mean" - This is the indoctrination/child abuse. "You don’t have long I am on to you. The time, it has come to destroy Your supremacy" It's showing the science and reason overcoming the gaps - it's destroying the supremacy of religion. |

Great song, tried to learn the odd time signature guitar part at 02:03 - not easy. This song is about a suicide. "Sever the faith from my body" - should be "Sever the fate from my body" perhaps? |

| KD pretty much got this one right. As much as they are death and rock, these guys are comedy geniuses | |
| Opeth – By the Pain I See In Others Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Mikael and Steven wrote together many of Deliverance's lyrics. The album has a sort of concept feel about control, death, evil behavior, nightmares in it. Mostly one controlling entity and one victim present. Each song is pure art, the music is very well written, but I don't particularly think the lyrics are meant to have a deep meaning. It's death, pain and everything dark. | |
