This possibly the best song Fall Out Boy has made, because of how deep the song is, while appearing to be about jellybeans, bears, peacocks, dreams and honey. Pete Wentz is truly a genius. Anyways, here's my meaning of the lyrics: Honey is for bees silly bear, besides there's jelly beans everywhere Because of your social/political stance in the world, you cannot have what it is you desire, even if you deserve it (ex. You're a frycook? Oh you can't have a lamborghini!). But there's jellybeans, or other good things you haven't thought about, that might be as good or better It's not what it seems in the land of dreams Don't worry your head just go to sleep You feel that sleeping may take away the torments of life, the bullying, the lonlyness, but really, the demons inside your mind are just as bad, but everyone tells you to not worry/be a baby about it and live with it, but when in reality it's killing you on the inside It doesn't matter how you feel, life is just a Ferris wheel, its always up and down, don't make a sound. People are telling you "Life isn't fair, and you shouldn't dwell on the past. Besides, everyone has their ups and downs, so hush." But really, you never have those ups, you are always feeling held down, lonely, depressed, and frustrated that no one understands or wants to understand, and you feel alienated When you wake up the world will come around, when you wake up the world will come around. This is what you tell yourself every night, as you cry, that it will all get better, the constant torment from your peers, your declining marks, and that it will magically will get better. This hope is what is keeping you from going through and ending it. It's just the sweet weather and the peacock feathers and the morning it will all be better. Peacocks are considered the beauty of birds, so they represent the beautiful people. Deep down, even though people like them torment you the most, for your appearance, your clothes, your awkwardness, but deep down you want to be them, have friends, be popular, have a boyfriend/girlfriend, and just be normal and fir the mold like everyone else.
