| The Used – Blue And Yellow Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| for some reason when i heard this song, i felt like i'd heard it before. it just sounded so familar. oh, and tbs19- this song means whatever you want it to, lol... unless you're looking for what the band says it is... then... you're kind of out of luck since some many people are saying they said so many different things. good luck. i love this song. | |
| Vertical Horizon – Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I remember the first time I heard this song. My ex-boyfriend and I were in his room working on homework. We both liked Vertical Horizon, and they said on the radio that they had a new song. We listened to it, and we fell in love with it. I realized it was on my cd, but I had never really listened to it after I got it. We listened to it a lot together, and I looked at him and said: "Wouldn't it be really sad if this song reminded me of you later?" He said: "Awww... don't say that. It won't ever happen." And guess what... :-/ It's ok though. I feel exactly like this song. It really hurt when I lost him, and I still miss him as my best friend, but I realize I don't want him back. He doesn't want me back, and I don't want him back as a boyfriend. I just want my best friend back. Every time I hear this song I think of him. I don't know if anyone can replace the first person you loved. That's what I really think about this song... it's about your first love, and most people lose their first love... but you can never forget it. It hopefully won't always be the best you ever had, but hopefully it was really good. Mine was. :-D I wonder if he thinks of me when he hears this song... | |
| Course of Nature – Better Part of Me Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| This song reminds me of myself! :-D I think it's like... he's so afraid of letting things go from the past that he's finding it hard to move on and be with this girl. He wants to make himself better through her... and he admits that she's changed him, but he's still afraid. He thinks that everything he does is wrong and he's just so insecure. In the end he decides to stay and just hope that he's the best for her. I really love this song, and this band. It reminds me of myself because I'm so afraid of letting go of the past, and basically... that I'm never good enough. | |
| Eminem – Lose Yourself Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| wohwho DeadAngelicHeart, you are awesome. Exactly what I would have said! This song is AWESOME! I can't stop playing it, and I can't help but get into it. It's great! I love the beat. "Da da dum da dum da da" | |
| Eminem – If I Had... Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I'm not going to say I like this song. I really don't, but that doesn't mean that Eminem's not talented. He's awesome, and he's really good at what he does. If you disagree with that then you're one of the stupidest people I've met. You can't make fun of something, or disagree with something if you don't know. Eminem can make words rhyme that you wouldn't think would. He's got good rhythm, and a good beat. If you can't appreciate different styles of music than don't bother to turn on your radio. Listen to the same c.d. over and over again, and don't bother to come here to look up the lyrics either. Try this... go through half of the shit Eminem had to go through, and tell that you're going to be a happy go-lucky person with their nickname as rainbow (not that there's anything wrong with that nickname.) Leave him alone damn it... | |
| Lifehouse – Anchor Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| This reminds me of my friend, but instead of knowing that he'll always be there I'm stuck hoping he won't let me go. I know him to hold me down, and stop me from making mistakes. He's my anchor, and the only thing that grounds me sometimes. If he were to let go of me I would probably float away. I love this song though! It's so good. The lyrics are great! | |

| Sugarcult – Beautiful Stalker Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I also think it's about a kid who's parents can't accept him... but I think it's only about one person, maybe. Like they pretend to be someone else so that their parents will approve of them. They're all dressed up and doing what their parents what them to do, but it's not really what they want to. Kind of like an alter ego, maybe. lol, I don't know. This is just what it looked like to me. Everyone else's theories make sense to me too... just thought I'd give you something else to think about! :-D | |
| Puddle of Mudd – She Hates Me Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I love this song! The meaning is obvious. It's just hilarious though, because it is so simple. The feelings in this song are simple, just like how you feel when you're dumped or you break up with someone you care about. Why can't the music and the lyrics be simple? Don't diss the lyrics. Why can't they have one simple song? Just let it go. I love 'um and they're awesome. I know I've felt this way before. The funniest part is that the music is basic and he sings kind of without feeling at first, and the chorus comes out of nowhere. Then he just freaks out later. The video is hilarious. Could you imagine someone just freaking out like that out of nowhere? Basically this song can be summed up in this phrase... shit happens -ashley | |
| Lifehouse – Fool Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| i love this song. it kind of seems like this is a song about a girl playing games with him. he's willing to do everything she says, and yet she still looks down on him. "what are you thinking as you look down on me? are you frustrated with my inconsistancy or intruiged that i can find the will to get back up? or maybe all of this is simply amusing?" it seems like she is trying to break him down, and he has to learn how to do everything over again. "first teach me to walk and then i'll learn to dance for you." also, he's seems like he's saying that he's been waiting a long time for her. "i am waiting for you. trying not to fall asleep now." i really do like this song though. it's better if you don't think of it like i do, lol. i really like to think of it as a love song. :0) *ashley* | |
| Lifehouse – Breathing Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| this is my favorite band. this is my favorite song. i love it, no matter what all of you say. jason wade is a great singer, and song writer. the band is awesome. this is the first band i found that i can relate to almost everything they say. they write about life. i love how jason explains his songs, and how he wants people to make their own meaning to it. that's the best part about i, it can mean whatever you want it to. the whole point of this site is to write what you think it means, to get different points of views. one of the reasons there is so much hate in the world is because we can't compromise. everyone just shuts people down with ideas. hell, where i live we're all supposed to have equal oppurtunities and blah, blah, blah... we don't, but that doesn't mean i'm not going to work hard to get mine. here is my 2 cents... this song could be about god, it could be about a girl, it could be about his cat that died when he was 7! who knows?! no one, but jason. this is my first post, i came in here because this is my favorite song and i wanted to talk about how great it was. i didn't realize there was such a controversy. i have never thought about what the song actually means. i love it too much to attach a meaning. if i attatch it to something in my life, and later that something is gone, the song may be ruined for me. i just like to listen to how awesome it is, and not think. i hate how a lot of you tore this song apart. i'm not christian, and i'm not totally sure about god, but geez!, let people have some faith! you're telling people god doesn't exist and to stop forcing god on them. you're being hypocrites. you're trying to force them to believe that god doesn't exist, you're pushing it on them. let them all be. say what you have to say about this damn song and leave. you don't have to put down everyone else in the process. let people believe what they want to, one of your silly little posts isn't going to change their religion. you're not proving anything but how stupid you are in thinking that. some people use faith to get them through hard times. good for them, what do you do when you're upset and you have nothing? sit at home and mope, ya i know how it is. i wish i had more faith than i do. people who have that faith seem to be a little bit happier, and nicer. i'm not sure, this may be an assumption, but a lot of the people who related this song to god were civil. a few were pushing their religion, and that is uncalled for, but WHO cares!? think what you want to think. i can't believe that people are critized so much for their opinions. i wish you would all just let this be and talk about the song! they didn't put these lyrics in here to bring up a battle about the existence of god! i love this song, and it is great. it's very important to me, and i love listening to it. there, enough said... *ashley* | |
