| The Head and the Heart – Cats and Dogs/Coeur D'Alene Lyrics | 11 years ago |

Cats & Dogs is pretty straightforward. It is about a man who has been quite sad and lonely, but he distracts himself with other things such as pet animals. I think in Coeur d'Aléne he is describing his break-up. She's moving and he's left there wondering what will happen with all the things they have been through. In the chorus: "oh the songs people sing for hope and for the ones that have been gone for too long oh the things people do for the ones that they love" He's telling that he would do anything for her. At the end, he's saying that it doesn't matter what happens next, he will still love her . |
