I'm going through a situation similar to this, this song relates perfectly. I've been in a serious long relationship with this girl, and she has become friends with her old ex again. I'm skeptical of it but I know they're "just friends". At least that's what I thought. She just recently broke up with me, and she has spent more and more time with this guy, and it just breaks my heart. She always tells me how much she cares about me and still does. But at the same time, I know she has feelings for the other guy, they're feelings she can't do anything about, they're just there. It's someone she will always have feelings for. So the best thing for me to do is try to move on, not necessarily forget about her and what we had, but try to be friends and just talk with her. |

I believe this song is about caring for someone so much and having that unconditional love for someone. You try so hard to keep them in your life and have that one special person there, but they just don't feel the same. You want them too, and you hope that they will care and feel the same about you, but you can't force them to stay with you. All you can do is just hope that one day they will come back to you and realize that you were the best person to enter their life. You'll try to move on, but the memories you made with that person will never leave, you'll remember them forever. They will always have the special place in your heart. |
