Personally, I love this song! "..It's where jesus was born"? Just ask a Mormon. "We speak American"? Yes. (American ENGLISH, but who cares.) I love the wordplay Manson's used in this song, and it's a good commentary about how unintelligent we as Americans can be, but still think we're exceptional. |

This song would be great for one of those Tea Party, far-right psychos to play on a campaign; leaving out the bridge, of course (He's the farmers barren fields....) and taking the wonderful irony and satire out of the song. One of my favorite Bad Religion songs. |
