| Nirvana – Something in the Way Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| It's fairly straightforward. Kurt feels like he's in the way of everything, so he talks about living under a bridge (he never did, by the way). He then talks about how he traps animals to kill and eat, but then feels bad and makes them his pets. He eats fish only because they have no feelings, and he doesn't want to hurt anything else. Very depressing. | |
| Nirvana – You Know You're Right Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I don't think this is about Courtney in specific, I think it's just about being at rock bottom, and finally killing yourself. | |
| Butthole Surfers – Pepper Lyrics | 11 years ago |

These lyrics are formatted horribly. Anyways I don't think it's about anything in specific, I think it's more just about self-destructive behaviors. The chorus or whatever (I don't mind the sun sometimes...), I think is just about your own self-destructive behaviors. |

| Alice in Chains – Last of My Kind Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I agree with jerrylovesrock666. It sounds like someone in poverty talking about a church/religion, how their story is old and broken, and they preach about doing good while the man in poverty (the narrator, if you will) is talking about how he doesn't get anything from them, has no home, is cold and hungry, so he's angry about it and wants to cause violence. | |
| Nine Inch Nails – The Wretched Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I think it's like the speaker talking to someone who is becoming depressed. Saying things like "Now you know this is what it feels like" is saying "You never understood depression until you were finally depressed". How horrible it feels and how much you hate it. How you try to get over it but it just doesn't work (Forget it). | |
| Alice in Chains – Nutshell Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
We chase misprinted lies -Trying to find happiness- We face the path of time -Not wanting to live, running down the timer- And yet I fight And yet I fight This battle all alone No one to cry to No place to call home -Feeling alone, not having anyone- Oooh...Oooh... Oooh...Oooh... My gift of self is raped My privacy is raked -The narrator screwed up- And yet I find And yet I find Repeating in my head If I can't be my own I'd feel better dead -Hating being alone, but rather being dead than with someone- Oooh...Oooh... Oooh...Oooh... I see it as being hopeless. You have nobody to love or relate to, yet even if you find someone you'd rather be alone or dead. |

| Nirvana – On a Plain Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I think he's basically just saying "I do drugs. I love it. I think my life is better than yours. Sure it's wrong but what should I do?" | |
| Eric Johnson – Desert Rose Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Pretty simple. There aren't many desert roses, they're rare things, like the people he loves. He never wants them to leave. | |
| Nirvana – The Man Who Sold the World (David Bowie cover) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I think it's kinda obvious that it's about the narrator of the songs past | |
