this is one of those songs that the meaning is not that hard to find, its simply about a girl whose mom died an father is an alcoholic (every tear soaked whiskey memory blown away) in the first chorus she relives the last sad incident that happened between her and her father while trying to wake him up during the tornado so they can get shelter she went to the cellar without her father to get revenge (some people call it taking shelter she called it sweet revenge.) and after the tornado was over she lived happily ever after.
