I think maybe the song might be about when Sierra and Bianca found each other after many years back in 2003. |

Along with my interpretation, the song reminds me of Katherine Mansfield's short story "The Doll's House." |

I see this as asking if you would help someone no matter who they are or what they've done. "Would you go, if they came, open arms, far away." |

To me, this song sounds like it's explaining all the bad things that go on daily in the world. Like a rape in a meadow, a fatherless child, a hankering to kill with a steaknife, etc. But I also see it as someone saying, "Here I come; I'm ready to help end this sadness in the world!" |

I think this song is using outdated laws from the Bible as if they were still used in a today's typical society. It's using the Bible's views on women, homosexuality, and other contreversial subjects and poking at the topic of hypocritical Christians. |

I see the lyrics talking about a tragic suicide story of a young boy being bullied. None of the bullies care about his suicide, and his mother is angry at what they've done. She wants someone to beat the other kids who have pushed her boy to suicide, but someone stops her and basically says, "But they're the same age as your boy. You were devestated at the loss of your child. No other parent should have to go through it, should they?"
In the end, it's basically saying that revenge is not the answer. |
