Comparing to my personal experience, I believe that this song is about being in a relationship and being in love with another person at the same time. Probably there are plenty of reasons why he cannot end his relationship such as very strong attachment or groove. He also might be scared of taking that risk of starting a new relationship even though he knows that he is in love with someone else. He prefers to stay where he feels safe and certain rather than trying something new even though it might bring him the happiness he has lost long time ago in his stable relationship. But I might be wrong. |
