I really like this songs because it's a narrative of a concrete story which rare in songs. I also relate to "she spoke of places I had never been that she had traveled to" because in SF you meet so many girls in bars that have been around the world ... although they usually do kiss in bars lol |

I think this is about an incredibly hot girl that, unfortunately, is also that superficial. She's empty inside, likes to show off and gets all the attention. However, I think the lyrics are like a message to that girl kind of saying: "hey look you you are so hot, cool and trendy that people (boys really) write songs about you, so why aren't you just a nice person instead of a fucking bitch??"
In addition, I bet this song comes from the songwriter's experience because you can find many of these girls in the music/entertainment industry. We can all still relate to the lyrics because probably at some point we've run into this kind of hot bitches and we wish that they were nice people. |
