@[Paper:8295] Tigers I would agree that it seems like it's sarcastic but he apparently is into the idea of Social Darwinism and Nietzsche. This contradicts with his criticism of capitalism later in the song (and in his songs generally) though. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

It was Alistair Crowley's house in Scotland actually. I don't think he did practice black magic there, or at least it's not particularly known that he did and he denies that he practiced black magic or was a black magician of any sort.
