I dont know for sure, but debate and telling each other to fuck off are two different things. Peoples' words can be extremely hateful, and if I were Coheed and Cambria and I saw that my music was just tearing people apart, I would be ashamed. Music is supposed to bring people together, not turn them into people who argue like 2 year olds. Please. |

v.perplexing lyrics..blowing my mind out trying to figure em out....knowing thursday I'd say it's a completely ironic statement...saying that we wont ever look the same until we can come to terms with each other and realize that we are the same inside regardless of what is on the outside. Even though our world is run by "robots" , a robot can't dream...and that's what makes us human. Maybe 'there is no safe way down' means that it would be fatal for us to regress...and we have to keep on moving higher as people. Or maybe i'm full of shit...lemme know. |

To me, this song is about a person who doesn't want a relationship to end and keeps holding on and being destroyed by it, only to finally let it go. "I'm giving up marching in time with your drums"..kinda like i've had enough of this doing things you're way or somethin like dat. I dunno, think about it, could be.. |

haha...i.find.it.funny.that.they.were.so.pissed.off.by.being.referred.to.as.emo.but.so.many.people.categorized.them.as.emo.for.the.longest.time. Personally, i always called them emo-core. If it makes them happy, i'll stop =) but.personally, i dont see what the big deal is. |

at warped tour geoff said that he was inspired to write this when he was visitng his grandma (i think it was his grandma) in the hospital and she was dying. He said that you dont realize how short life is until it's gone, and that we all have to make the best of our time here while we have it and can enjoy it. |

I recently read an interview with Thursday and it's actually about an African american homosexual friend of theirs who suffered a lot of discrimination and hatred. Regardless of what this song is about, it's about one main idea, that we have to stop hating each other for no reason. Look at how we are talking to each other on this messageboard. There's a way to explain things calmly ...oh crap...sorry ANOTHERTIME i had no idea you just explained that...just saw it... thanks anyway |

the last line pretty much sums it all up. One of the few thursday songs about relationships gone wrong but overcourse they outdid everyone else who tried. it's short and sweet, none of that whiney lost-girlfriend crap. bravo |
