My interpretation of this song is about a loved one dying or leaving for a long time. In the dying sense, it could be used that you will see them again once your time comes, or maybe they will be spiritually present with you again. I can relate to it because this song was playing when my bestfriend said we wouldn't get to see eachother for a long time. This part I especially relate to: "I can hear those echoes in the wind at night Calling me back in time Back to you In a place far away Where the water meets the sky The thought of it makes me smile" When I hear this, I think of all our memories and how we'll have lots more. |
