@[shaun23:51579] Yes, I agree. There is no resolution, only an unrequited longing and a sense of regret. An absolutely beautiful song, however. I also agree with jimbocam that the line is ‘Our chances waxed and waned.’ Nothing else makes sense. And yes, I am aware I’m replying to posts made 12 and 16 years ago!! |
