This song is brilliant. I also love the fact that it's named after Fiona Coyne, a character from Degrassi (one of my favorite guilty pleasure shows).
I just thought it was a coincidence, until I realized that the talking snippets were directly from the show and some of the lyrics describe her. |

I can't believe no has commented on this awesome song yet. It has this 80s sound to it. the melody is very memorable, and the chorus is just so catchy. In fact the chorus has been stuck in my head for days. Overall a very enjoyable song. I can't wait hear more from the new album. I have high expectations especially after hearing this song. |

"I'm kind of over gettin' told to throw my hands up in the air, so there" I just love that line because it's how I feel about most of the popular songs being played that are all about clubbing and partying Most of them even do say, "put your hands in the air". It gets boring because that act is so overplayed and not everyone relates to that type of lifestyle. I really love Lorde, she's a breath of fresh air. |
