Kendrick Lamar – For Free? Lyrics 10 years ago
This song is full double entendre. The woman represents any critics of Lamar's output, the other, people consumed in the corporate takeover of hip hop, the pimp, the butterfly, the trick, the character of Lucy that Lamar mentions throughout the album, the oppression of America, and his lover. America aka Lucy has forgotten that Kendrick, who is here representing his ancestors, is responsible for getting her to where she is. Slavery of African Americans made this country wealthy. His verse is delivered in the style of a slam poet because Kendrick knows about the music he is rapping over. It's real jazz.

In an interview, Lamar said that this was currently his favourite track from the album.

OutKast – Millennium Lyrics 12 years ago
Really can't believe I'm the first to comment here. This is arguably the best lyric performance on what is outkast's best multiplatinum album. I see the song as Andre and #BigBoi explaining there thoughts as life is moving quickly for them. The chorus is incredible for several reasons: Andre's simple chorus is perfect, he uses his voice as an instrument and fits perfectly with the poem being recited.
