I love what you said about the "lying down" double meaning. never would have caught that (: and beach house in idaho could be "we can escape somewhere & he can make himself comfortable in his mind/body/soul lol Idaho=(I'm the hoe) basically, like julia roberts in pretty woman when she says "I appreciate this whole seduction thing you've got going on here, but let me give you a tip: I'M A SURE THING. *wink* in a joking way, of course :D |

The black eye reference does not mean domestic abuse to me. I feel it is more a metaphor for his battles & scars become hers as well. But yeah..this is a song to be interpret as you feel & choose. To me the song is called "By Your Side", so basically she wants to be his "ride or die". She loves him that much...and there is a much deserving reason to love someone this much. The Quality in (E)Quality. They take care of each other in their own ways. This song is like a reading her own Vows, we just havn't heard his (maybe in another song) :) |
