| When I hear this song, I imagine that the speaker feels betrayed by a friend who they aptly dub "Iscariot" who has committed suicide. Iscariot did not trust that their life would get better and didn't quite recognize how loved they were. Love and loyalty were what they wanted and had, but that was more than they bargained for so by their actions they only asked for death and thus lost a whole lifetime of friendship that they had coming. | |
