| The idea of what this song meant came to me when I was Sedona, Arizona. It was swirling around in my mind but I didn't get a concrete grasp on it until I was alone. That weekend had been spent doing some inappropriate things and I kept pushing the guilt back but then it hit me. This song is about chasing happiness in the wrong places.. Sleeping around, doing drugs, whatever it is that gets you off but doesn't sit true with your heart.. True love comes from God and if you don't choose His love, you're going down the longest road to nowhere. That's my interpretation and I'm posting a very personal experience and sharing it with you. | |
