Honestly, I didn't write the song so I don't have the exact definition. It's a story about a love...maybe two. The man, simple, with simple desires, wanted something...but couldn't have it. The beginning of the adventure is his high, his drug, you know how love is. But the coldness is a sign that it's a bad place for the woman to be and the sweater represents protection from the "coldness." Later on, it's all starting to crash down and he realizes his mistakes and tries to fix it with the woman (first woman if you believe it was a cheating thingy). Again, I don't know the meaning because I didn't write it but if you really want to know, ask the song writer. |
