| The fox hunting is an analogy. She runs afraid from a love so overwhelming that she feels like the small fox pursued by hounds. When the hounds catch the fox they will tear it apart. She feels it coming and knows its big and powerful but does not know what it is & so she's afraid. "Take my shoes of and throw them in the lake" distract them/distract me, "Hold me down" don't let me run away. I don't know what's good for me. She felt the fox's heart beating so hard & she was ashamed of her own fear. Because though this fox was so afraid it let her hold him, knowing she was loving and gentle. She, on the other hand cannot calm her fears, though she knows what she is running from is true love. Its just so REAL and so powerful that it frightens her. | |

Here's the deeper meaning: "God" created the world out of love for her man. Her man is God, the sky father, in the ancient Egyptian view. God(ess) has continued to live in the world again and again in an effort to find a way to rid the world (and the whole universe) of evil. Each time She goes in as a living human He remains outside watching. He says, "Anytime it gets too hard, you call out to me, let me take your place. It won't hurt me. You want to know that it doesn't hurt me, but see, it hurts me to see you try so hard and be hurt so badly, misunderstood, ridiculed, tortured and attacked. Let me steal that moment from you. Let me do the hard part. Just say the word and I'll be the one running up that hill (taking on obstacles of this life) I'll be running up that building (like superman). We won't be unhappy. We won't be apart forever." In "Jig of Life" She replies, "No,no,no Just let me live. Let me have this moment. I put this moment here...I put this moment here (I created TIME for this purpose, so I can see the cause and the effect in slow motion, moment by moment. So I can solve this problem by living in the world, finding the way to stop making causes for evil, I need to suffer through LIFE to find the solution.) She says, "I need you there so I won't forget who I am and where I came from and why this matters so much. I won't forget." God is an ordinary person living among us, living just like us, suffering. She is solving the problem of evil for all time and for all people, all living things. But it takes time, it takes living. She needs him "out there" to remind her of how LOVE feels. She needs to be reminded why she has created this world and why she must work so hard to make it right. She needs to see his face and remember his love. But he cannot stand to see her difficulties, and how unfair this world is to her, who created all of this out of love for him and for all of us. Like each of us, living a lifetime means She forgets who she really is, where She came from, and all Her amazing power. Letting her do this, letting her make a way for real love to exist means He must stand by unable to help her. So he calls out, "Let me do it for you! Let me steal this moment from you now! Let's exchange the experience. Let me take a turn doing the hard work." She wants to say, "Yes!" but she knows that it is the accumulated wisdom from many lifetimes that allows her to find the way. It cannot simply be taught. "Its you and me, Babe." We are doing this together. "We won't be unhappy." We are almost done. We've got this thing solved. We will be together in perfect love. And he says, "I will dance with you in the sunlit pools of a happy, loving life." And she says, "YES!" |
