This song is just heartbreakingly beautiful. Every time I hear "and my mates are all there trying to calm me down cuz I'm shouting your name all over town" just omg it's so sad. It reminds me of a small child when they find out their parents died or something and the heartbroken feeling that comes with that. And the "and she'll listen this time even though they're slurred, dialed her number and confessed to her that I'm still in love but all I heard was nothing, she said nothing, I got nothing" it's just heartbreaking and the way this song is, it makes you feel the emotions. It's a wonderful song. |

I like this song, but some of these interpretations I'm like, it seems to strong and soulful to just be about her ex wanting to get back with her. It has to be something a little more deep than that, like he gave her everything and pretended he loved her, when really she later realized he simply wanted sex or money or another girl to hurt, because only someone that terrible could make her feel like that. Plus the whole "jar of hearts" part could mean that they would tell him everything, and he was just using them, so they feel emotionally stripped. The running round leaving scars part could mean that they (or she) would eventually heal, but they had wounds from what he did to them. |

Well uh you don't have to be so rude first of all, nobody's trying to push anybody on their religion, they were just saying what they think, you were pushing your opinions on them and saying they're stupid and all that so... Plus, Ryan Tedder is Christian and probably some of the other band members are too, so it's a possibility that it really is about God. And Jesus is special because he's God's son and he was born of a virgin, and, you know.. nobody else ever has been, so....
But mostly I just wanted to say that talking about your religion is different than trying to push it on people, nobody is being forced to agree with or even read the comments, and also nobody was being rude, but then you were and that was unnecessary. |
