| My interpretation....this song is about parting ways with love but choosing to hold onto the good memories rather than having it affect you negatively. I watched the video and it shows a father coming to see his estranged family and being turned away. So this song can have meaning for family as well as lovers. It's about remembering the good and holding onto those moments. Choose not to hold onto the negatives of a break up or departure of someone in your life. Remember what you learned from them and how they touched your life instead. | |
