Midnight Oil – Shipyards Of New Zealand Lyrics 10 years ago
It starts off with a guy working in the shipyards of NZ. But he dreams of riches and hears rumours that you can make a million in Australia - probably in the gold fields. But he is not cut out for hard labour, so he works in the offices as a clerk or something. He works so hard every day, it never stops, and so slowly, his dreams fade away while he deals with the now. But deep down he kids himself that he will still be successful. From time to time he has to hide his real heritage as he climbs the social ladder of the oligarchs. Now he is at the top of the heap - he has forgotten his original dreams - they are lost, as is he.

Tool – Stinkfist Lyrics 11 years ago
It is about material things will not bring you happiness - you will only get bored by them, so you need a bigger fix (no matter what your poison is) each time for less and less satisfaction. But people never learn and stay on the treadmill, even when they know it is bad for them.

Neil Young – A Man Needs A Maid Lyrics 12 years ago
He has a broken heart, and only wants women in his life in a "professional" scenario - just do your job and go away - I don't want to get involved any more than that - I have had enough. It is not being derogatory toward women. He wants to keep women at an arms length for self preservation.

When actually, we take the point of view of the Mongoloid, and question ‘normalcy’… " http://youtu.be/PEWZbFj_JMg
