| In Cherokee legend, there was a "fallen angel" of sorts, named Kalona. He had been cast away from his goddess, so he took his rage and raped/impregnated Cherokee women. Eventually the Women elders of the tribe created a clay woman named Aya who they enchanted to become alive and beautiful. She lured Kalona into a cave, where he was eternally trapped. This song is obviously more metaphorical to this story but you can see that it's about lusting after a dangerous person. | |
