| I believe it is much darker than that. The "darkest sin" is suicide. I feel like this track is about a man who has decided to die; a man who can no longer cope with himself. I believe you are correct when saying he hopes he will be missed. The somberness of the vocals and the haunting melody leads me to believe this can only be about a lonely man who has given up. A man who has reached the end. He has surrendered. It is a beautiful song. | |
