Is this a real band? No one seems to have heard any of their music. I've read a couple of their lyrics and it's just the worst, most embarrassing emo shit ever. Like a bad, adolescent, self-pitying wankfest. I BET it's some spoilt, self absorbed kid with a major victim mentality sitting in a dark room, blaming everyone but themselves, thinking woe is me, not a genuine band! Sorry if I'm wrong, but if so my advice would be to get a better lyricist! |

This is the one Coldplay song that really makes me feel emotional. I think it's about over-analysing and self sabotage within a relationship and then that destructive negativity turning into a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Having said that, I personally connect this song with the death of a loved one. |
