| Shakey...I "Super Love-It".. And you're correct This was Neil's (Parting), Gift to the "Springfield" before leaving the Group.. Their Producer thought that Neil's voice was too Whiney (for Top-40 Airplay), and had Richie Furay sing it.. (I Like-It-Like Dat). I thought that it was "Top-10" Worthy and compared it to "Airplay-Appealing" Groups like the "Box-Tops" with that "Tight" Rhythm and Horn-Section. And the Strings, (Truly a Nice Touch).. | |
