Duddddddeeeees, I deciphered this song years back. In a least three Tame songs Kev randomly starts talking about somebody other than the girl he was orgigonally talkin bout. Mixing these, I believe he is talking about his dad dying of cancer, specifically, playin his guitar while he's dyin of cancer, oh my father why won't you answer- as randomly mentioned in Sun's Coming Up- From Lonerism. It's the same as,
And I thought they could cure his disease, but in all honesty he didn't have a hope in hell, now we'll never see him move.
His dad taught him guitar and all about 60's music you know? He was important. |

Kevin tours pretty much all the time, but the lads and him love Perth, though it's so different. Tour life and home life in WA they really don't compare. He feels like he is at home, like part of him can phycically acsend into the sky, but he'll be left behind. If he is reminded of home, he'll realize he misses it, but he knows leaving is something he has to do. |
