The whole song is basically about the blink break up. They were supposed to do a show for a relief concert after the Boxing Day Tsunami in '04 but had problems and didn't do it. Hence the title and ("swept beneith the wave of your goodbye" lyrics) "The worst pain killer.." Maybe reference to Tom's addiction to pain killers, stating that leaving blink was a worse pain than the problems the addiction caused? "Sad how far you ran... I'll search this land, up through the clouds.. How Tom left for Angels and AIRwaves (air..clouds... get it?) And the the chrous is pretty much just Mark's pain of Tom leaving. :( That's my interpretation but ya. |
