"Old habits reappear" does not suggest anything you have described. It suggests that your coping mechanism , by choices, has returned. We all have coping mechanisms. Some of us have detrimental ones. Distract and defuse never works for long terms. |

"Old habits reappear" is just a single line in the chorus. Maybe that line is relative to you because you or someone you know well has struggled with drug or alcohol abuse. |

I don't see a "full out blaming his condition on someone else". To me he has just accepted that failure is inevitable with the mental illness. Schizophrenia has no cure . It can only be managed. The thought process is shattered at times for those with the mental illness. As for the "myself is after me", that's the realization that we are our own worst enemy, so to speak. |
