I'm hot and cold with music. Sometimes I feel music pulls me away from my meditation practice which includes prayer, yoga and being one with nature. Music does not have part of those moments- except slightly with yoga. I do enjoy this site.

| This is a man who was pushed to have to scream, "I don't CARE anymore!" You can read between the lines all the crap he had to put with to get to that point. Breaking up can actually be civil between healthy adults. But when you are dealing with an unhealthy person hell bent on trying to make you miserable, you have to tell them to get the hell out of your way. You're done. I see it as empowering. This song is so reflective of someone with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD.) A BPD will never give closure. They want to torture anyone that didn't stay with them in as sadistic a way as possible. So being "friends" is not to be. They get sick pleasure from attempting to inflict pain. But I actually see the guy as the BPD- and interestingly, he wants to be friends to get the last laugh since the girl beat him to the punch and let him go first. He's pissed that he doesn't get to be the one to have done it to her first. THIS: Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over But had me believing it was always something that I'd done And I don't wanna live that way Reading into every word you say ^^ Hallmark behavior- NEVER taking responsiblity. It's ALWAYS the other person's fault. You get to a point where you don't wanna ... YOU CANNOT live that way any more. It's pure unhealthy horror. It's not real- it's all an illusion / dillusion. This song is sad- but glad the girl got the last laugh in the end. She saved herself from a life of misery. The guy is incapable of being a man in a relationship. She can / will do much better. You can never help someone with this kind of personality. They can only help themselves- its always better to walk - actually RUN away. |
