I think it's called tough love. Sometimes when we help it can do more harm and we end being enablers. They have to hit rock bottom and we have to let them so they can deal with the actions & consequences of their behavior. If we keep helping & cleaning up the mess so they don't fully deal w/the consequences then they will never hit rock bottom. Hitting rock bottom might be the only thing to save them to get them to actually want to change. It helps to think of it like that. Sometimes helping IS enabling so letting go is all you can do but it is in Gods hands. You gotta love you & be healthy. I know it's painful but stay strong. Did u ever watch the show intervention ? Leloann- Read the books "Why Men Love B" by Sherry Argov, go to the website Anewmode & buy their e-book "He's not that complicated", it's really worth it, read " The Rules" by Elle Fein & Sherrie Scheider and "Mr.Unavailabe & the fallback girl" by Natlie Lou and check out her website.
