| This song reminds me of this guy who broke my heart. We had an attraction towards each other and were very much in puppy love, but then things suddenly changed when I discovered another side to him. A side where he would run away from problems and not want to fix them. When it came down to the two of us he would run away because he would't want to face his actions. He would make me feel weak and defeated because he would put on this front of being happy and fine(which seemed inhumane and abnormal to me), which was totally opposite from me because I was so unhappy and sad. He comes back every once in a while because he cares and each time he does it's like I have to put up a shield to protect myself from not melting back into him. I know that I can not change him because those are just his ways and it's not my responsibility too either. Listening to this song just reminds me of the bad he's done and to feel more empowered rather then weak. | |

He's questioning their "relationship" The mirror represents her reflecting herself, her actions, how she's tormenting with others feelings. He begins to feel insecure and fearful if he is even thought of by her or if the other man shares similar traits to him. He knows her ways of unkept words for he has learned her ways of nature. She doesn't think twice of her actions for who she is affecting. Is this the real her? or is it just a facade for others. The front she has made of being wild and free is deceiving to him. It seems as though he has had enough of the suffering by being tortured by her. He knows that if he get's close to her his feeling of lust and deep emotion would get the better of him, leading to her damaging him yet again. He's aware of all the negative effects she has on him but he still wants her. He's reflecting on the times they were together and if she was ever paying attention or if her mind was wandering somewhere else. Are his feelings making an impact on her? or is this something for her to gain from? She cares about herself and her emotional state or needs but neglects his. She believes that the way of showing feelings is through physical contact but not emotional. It's the little things of communication and thought that make a big deal. It's those things that make a "relationship" secure and meaningful. What he wants she clearly doesn't, but he can't help but want what he can't have. He can't have her breaking him yet again because it is just too painful to bear. He refuses. Its seems as though his manhood/pride is crushed. The feeling of unmutual feelings is a disappointment. "It's bringing me to my knees"- He is pleading for her to stop her torturous acts. He get's knocked down each time possibly getting his hopes up thinking things will someday hopefully work out. "Love begs, Love pleads"- As humans we naturally have to love so it will forever live on with us but to get to the one true love we must face some heartbreaks.Love comes and goes. It comes on at first being great but it can end to something unpleasant.~ His view on love has changed or he wants his love for her to disintegrate. It can also be taken as love should die for it also causes intense agony. "It's no surprise" He's not amazed that he's feeling what he's feeling now.
