| I agree the lyrics are weird, but I think the point of the song is that if you really love someone, nothing will tear you apart. You sort of see this from the chorus, "everything is fine when you're standing in the eye of the hurricane, ie the "winds of the hurricane" can threaten to tear apart the relationship, but the eye of the storm is literally the safest part, where the love is "safe". Thats what she means , "He's got the way of the hurricane." Just a theory.... | |
