| I love this song, because it speaks sense, and by sense I mean in a view point of someone who even if religious, refuses to be narrow minded, and bigoted, and even though I feel that this in itself is a very strong and beautiful meaning, they go that step further and include some, if not most of society's view points, in the form of rhetorical questions, which makes us question whether we have these view points too, towards those who decide to be open minded, even if that means them looking at both view points, from what we assume to be wholesomely good, and what we assume wholesomely evil and bad. Society wants to prevent that by declaring that person as cynical, just because they want to be equitable to both sides, just because they want to make their own decision and consider everything, rather than jump onto a one way road. As society we should respect that, if not admire it, but instead, we decide to shame or mock that person. | |
