| The Head and the Heart – Lost In My Mind Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I find this song to be more of a... Tongue in cheek way of saying something to his brother. Something like "You said I couldn't do this, but look at you. You got a desk job, is it giving you more than I got?" | |

Something about this comment... Just yes. |

I legitimately have to say it. I sing this song like six times faster than they do. Like... Just uber-speed. |

Totally! They're more melodic, more of an "Alt-Rock" style metal. Less Death Metal, more... Toned-Down. |

This song sums up how I feel about my family. My dad, more specifically. |

| Bastille – Pompeii Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I... Personally find this song is more about how the individual actually looks at it. This is written FOR us to find the meaning, it's for us to all pull out our own interpretation, give us a little closure for any past problems. | |

| Think Battery instead of battery... Like... F**king hitting somone?! It's simple really | |

I'd like to say this... I believe this is about Metallica as a band. It's basically saying "We're still Metallica, F**k you if you say different." Something like, "even though we've been through hell, we're still making music. It's still good music, and we're still metallica." Yes. It's how I feel about this song. |

mankvill, you've got it right, but what I'm gonna say is something more along my idea here... It's about someone like a false prophet, or a extremist Satanist... Something more like that. Not the Devil himself, and instead more someone who worships. Such as Luke or another prophet, but completely opposite. Something more like that, in my eyes... |

I'm gonna say this, it might be abortion or suicide, but I believe it isn't... I believe that this song is about someone who's craving death, not killing themselves. Family's crying, he doesn't care. Simple. "Suicide, I've already died" could mean that he WON'T kill himself, because he's already dead on the inside. Not physically, but mentally/emotionally... Just an opinion |

First time I heard this song, i thought of the game Fallout:New Vegas, or movies about post-apocalyptic worlds. If you don't look for a deep meaning, it plainly states things that would allow for Fallout: New Vegas to work. I know it's not the TRUE meaning, but it's always how I have viewed the song. |

| Five Finger Death Punch – Lift Me Up (feat. Rob Halford) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| It's about someone who's fed up trying to help. He's always being shut down, beaten down, or tossed around. He's done trying to help others. He's giving one chance for someone else to pull him out of his rage. All he wants is peace, by himself. | |

| @libernater, "toys in the attic" is like when you find old childhood toys in the attic, sends memories into your head, clutters your mind. | |
| Pantera – Hollow Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
I want to interpret to fit my situation. It's about someone on medications like morphine, oxycontin, Heroin, or any other downer. They're alive, but they're just a shell of who they are. They can talk, but they can't comprehend what's being said correctly. They can't stop, they won't stop, and no matter what happens, they're blissful inside the shell. They're hollow, unable to exist as they were. Everyone remembers who they used to be, but that's something we can't have back. We still love them, but they can't see what's happening. |

| Five Finger Death Punch – Anywhere But Here (feat. Maria Brink) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
Amazing song, but I think it's about how people change. If they know that the world is ending, their morals will change. They won't stay the same. People always change, especially the ones I know. "If there was no tomorrow, if there was just today, Would you make different choices, would you stay the same?" Singnifies how people change when circumstances do. "If the world stops spinning tomorrow, I'd never shed a tear! I'd rather be anywhere, anywhere, Anywhere but here!" He wouldn't care if the world ended, I wouldn't either. But stated simply, he wouldn't mind the end of the world. |

This is definately about a man with schizophrenia, or a split personality. He's got a mental condition that causes him to seem to be two different people. One of which is suicidal toward the other. In a sense, its a song about a man with mental problems, and talks to himself. The song itsself is him talking to his other personality. But I know many interpretations that are still correct. It's quite a good song, either way. |
