In the Movie Dirty Harry the main character is a cop who is great at his job, but he gets fed up with the never ending crime. The rotating door of prisons, and the bureaucratic nightmare that is policing. The song is about war. All war. That includes the "war on drugs" and any other "war on something" Its about how conflict never ends. And those who try to end it only end up weary and tired. Wishing it would all stop. And dancing could be anything that they enjoy. Its just something that they would rather be doing than trying to stop endless conflict. |
