The album is about a man who goes off to gamble it all. This song sounds like his break from his family....his realization that now the children are gone, he doesn't see any future. So off he goes to gamble...and ultimately loses it all. |

The artists themselves talked about this. One of them (can't remember if it was Parsons or Woolfson) interpreted it to mean the robot talking about people. The other interpreted it the other way around - as a person talking about robots. |

Good analysis. The APP is my favorite artist. I love their music, and their lyrics are....interesting. I can't really figure them out. I just joined this site, and I'm interested in seeing comments such as yours. What you said makes so much sense...I'm just not good at figuring these sorts of things out.
