Vangelis – Suffocation Lyrics 12 years ago
And this was reported as pretty accurate translation of spoken Italian lines to English:

Attention! Attention!
All persons with children immediately go to shelter B37!
Attention! I repeat! Attention! All families with children go to shelter b37!
All families with children are requested to go immediately to shelter B37!
Attention! Attention!
Attention! Attention!
I repeat! Al parents with children go to shelter B37!
All families with children go immediately to shelter b37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
Immediately to shelter B37!
I repeat! Parents with children go immediately to shelter B37!

[man:]
"Listen, I go out... and I try to reach block 14, because... it's necessary. Yesterday I have seen Paul and..."

[woman:]
"And his girlfriend?"

[man:]
"Nothing, didn't make it, she didn't make it"

[woman:]
"Don't you say so"

[man:]
"But anyhow so I take a... so the protective suit... and hope it will be sufficient"

[woman:]
"Only the protective suit, maybe it's better you also take the mask, what do you think?"

[man:]
"O.K., so I leave now"

[woman:]
"No, it's better to wait a quarter of an hour, 20 minutes before going out, so it will be darker"

[man:]
"I look outside how things are"

[woman:]
"Yes look outside now"
"Did you look outside what happens?"

[man:]
"Nothing"

[woman:]
"Nothing? What do you mean nothing, is there anybody out?"

[man:]
"No, everything the same like before. Seems nothing is changing. In fact it's worthwhile trying. Give it to me!"

[woman:]
"Yes, yes, all right, I'll bring it to you, all right, yes, yes, I go"

Vangelis – See You Later Lyrics 12 years ago
As far as I know there is no official lyrics for this album, and thus there is some space for interpretation.

As a fact, there is no consensus among the Vangelis fans as for part of the lyrics which is listed now as 'Yes it ain't silly' and so on. There are some transcriptions which insist that the lyrics in this place are 'Yes, a sin city, it's a much sin city' which might make slightly more sense.

Same goes for example for line 'Say High' which often considered to be 'Say I' instead.

Due to the nature of recording and lots of heavily processed vocals, one might not be absolutely sure of true words that were sung.

Vangelis – Suffocation Lyrics 12 years ago
In the community of Vangelis fans it is well known that this song deals with Seveso disaster of 1976, a catastrophic industrial event on chemical plant in Italy, which resulted in numerous hospitalizations but luckily no human deaths, though a huge number of wild and domestic animals either died or was killed later to stop the chemicals from getting into the food chain.

It should be known that current version of lyrics is incomplete. It only features spoken Italian parts, completely omitting the sung lyrics in the middle section of song, performed by Jon Anderson (of Yes and ABWH).

Vangelis – Multi-Track Suggestion Lyrics 12 years ago
In case, you're wondering.

VCO and VCA are the terms from synthesizer technology and stand for Voltage Controlled Oscillator and Voltage Controlled Amplifier, two of the most important devices in generating the synthesizer's signal.

The rest of the song also has some references to synthesizer technology, such as "patch bay", "EQ low cut" and "Frequency 1000".

Sadly, the general idea of the song keeps eluding generation of fans, and probably only vangelis could explain what he meant by it, though there's still not enough certainty about it.
