i get the feeling that she is based on a real person though, a lot of his songs are based on his life experiences i always wonder if this album is about his past experience with suicide in point/counterpoint he says "Trust me I've been there before I would not wish it upon my greatest enemy" and so i wonder if he is writing this album almost like what he wishes he could have told himself in the past to help people now in that situation I'm probably wrong about this but that is just a thought either way streetlight manifesto is the greatest band of all time |

if you listen to the ton kay version he gets a little choked up at the end before he says "she said forget me but i can't" he cares so much about annie and he would give anything to save her from herself but he can't do anything because she keeps pushing him away i can't listen to this song without crying |
