I think this song is about how the world is controlled by money, and that technically, money doesn't exist, yet we are all slaves to it. In God we Trust is on the money, and this is the god that he is talking about. Money, the creation of it by central banks from nothing and then lending it out for interest propagates most of the lies and deception that run the planet today, including the war machine which is fueled by profit... (the death of one is a tragedy the death of a a million is just a statistic) When people tend to do things that don't require money, artistic statements, revolution, wanting to change the system... it tends to scar the minds of the establishment, and most of the time these people are seen as radicals and sometimes eliminated, AKA, Martin Luther King, John Lennon, etc anyone who has tried to push for a social revolution of peace and rock the system. |
