This song is for those who want to change the world and topple the current government, they advocate for a free mind..free thought...yet all they do is follow these trends or leaders that only want to create a bandwagon for their own personal gain...and all the followers following blindly for their own personal gain. The irony. |

The premise of the song seems to be "Don't worry about what I believe in, you can have faith in what you want but I'll stick to my own beliefs, I don't need you to convince me of yours". It reflects the mindset of those of us who are atheists.
I particularly love the line "Get this off my plate, It’s all right, I got my own way to believe". Sometimes religious (very select minority) tend to want to force feed their doctrine to the rest of the world. When we say "I'm fine with my own beliefs, thanks" it tends to fall on deaf ears. |
