| Black Sabbath – Fairies Wear Boots Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| The song was written after Ozzy and Geezer were smoking Cannabis in the park and hallucinated Fairies wearing Boots. | |
| HIM – Gone With The Sin Lyrics | 12 years ago |

In a recent (2013) interview, Ville Valo stated it was about his girlfriend at the time who was going through a lot and I guess it was a dark time. This song holds the ultimate place in my heart. I could write a story about what I've been through via this song and how important it is to me. Lets just say, despite the Love part of it, I have it as necessary that this song is played at my funeral and I hope it is the song I listen to right before I die. |

| HIM – Don't Close Your Heart Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
This song, I believe, is not at all Metaphorical. It's straight to the point literally Ville saying "I really do know how it feels to be ....." and that he understands. I relate completely literally to this song and so listening to it is like Ville is talking right to me personally and telling me he knows how I feel and that I can't give up as much as I feel I need to. And as for a closing point he's survived through it and surviving through pain constantly and therefore I can't give up now. |

I believe completely and know this woman is non other than the beautiful Jonna Nygren. They had a lot of love tradgies together and as much as I like Jonna it hurts me to think of all the songs that had been inspired occasionally by her for Ville to write. |

| HIM – Fortress of Tears Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
This seems to be about Depression. and Anxiety in some thoughts. How us suffering try to create our own Fortress of safety through our pain - in this case his tears and fears. We can use it on or from someone to ourselves. Like for a loved one who suffers too or them to us. "and hold your breath on your way down," Drowning in the tears of endless pain and sorrow (depression). - At least this is what I think this song is about and this is how I interpret it for myself. |

| HIM – Disarm Me (With Your Loneliness) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| It took him a few years to actually finish writing this song. Out of all his songs he said this one was probably the most difficult one. | |
