This song is about HEROIN. It's not about actual killing, that's a metaphore for homosexual sex ("getting mean") and drug abuse. The blood coming down the neck and chest is the heroin spreading through the body, and it's "better than sex" and at the time it was the "final thing to do", and because how you felt immediately after, you had to get "somebody to come on to you". "I NEED some kicks", "Give it to me NOW".... The song comes form someone who has experimented with everything there is and now is looking for a new high. |
