Hypnotic. Reaches into a mood of hopeful lonliness. The plunking of the banjo makes the "arrow" sharper. Ken B. |

I used to live in New York City. Was stuck (12:30 past mid-day/life) in the old edifice of self (steeple). A New fresh change in perspective and outlook brought on by a move; A new way of looking/thinking about things Young girls. (Affirmation of life) Blinds (eyes now open). Things are now clearer. Can’t keep from talking (enthusiasm of this new life/way of thinking/being). Cloudy waters cast no reflection; Images of beauty lie there stagnant; vibrations bounce in no direction; But lie there shattered into fragments. (Life in Dissonance. This is an echo of the old self in the old place. Life in potential but stuck (12:30; day/life half over) time/person stuck. By Ken B. All comments about lyrics/poems/songs are really about: “What you’re looking for—Is what you’re looking with”. In other words, it’s not only what the words are, it’s what you (your back-ground) bring to the song. (Including me); (I can no longer keep my mouth drawn! kb); (“Burp”). |
