Marcy Playground – Saint Joe on the School Bus Lyrics 11 years ago
Oh, suburbia. I live in it, and it's true. There is this homophobic nature and air around me. Which is why I go to a school in the actual city with a more carefree atmosphere, but even there there are people who use gay as an insult. It is the biggest joke, and my generation is the punchline.

Megadeth – Dawn Patrol Lyrics 11 years ago
I think there was a point to it. It was right before Rust in Peace... Polaris, which is about the same thing, just using nuclear war. Dawn Patrol is supposed to set the doomed mood, and give the drum intro something to bounce off from, something slow to hit the gas

Personally, Mustane's lyrics, at least through Rust in Peace, kick Hetfield's ass. Polaris is one of the greatest depictions of Armageddon in the world.

Bad Religion – Sinister Rouge Lyrics 11 years ago
Well, this song has some different meanings depending on interpenetration. I see a lot of people claiming it is criticism about the Catholic church. This is true, but if you look on it in a more figurative level, you will see a hell of a lot more. The song is using Religion as a platform that controls the lives of it's participants, and isn't contended with by the people. AKA, our government. It is comparing the hypocrisies of the Catholic Church, to the hypocrisies of the US government, which is a pretty damn good metaphor, is it not?

The Bollweevils – 999 Stoney Lyrics 11 years ago
Seriously, NO COMMENT???
I love this song. The lead guitarist became my vice principal in grammar school. In 8th grade, the school rock band played this, and I played drums. It's about the way we look at the world. If we look through rose colored glasses, we will let the system fuck us all in the ass.

No Doubt – Hey Baby Lyrics 12 years ago
I realized that that first album was pretty meaningless. It was meant to be a happy album of the main ska roots, fun horn section shenanigans with a carefree attitude.

No Doubt – Hey Baby Lyrics 12 years ago
Personally, I don't like this song. I was going to say hate, but that's too strong a word for what I feel. FIRST OF ALL, note I said PERSONALLY. This is my opinion, it isn't completely wrong, it isn't gospel. It is just me reflecting on No Doubt. I just recently got into No Doubt, and I am deep into The Bacon Street Collection, and Tragic Kingdom. This song is a complete downgrade of no doubt. Now, I know every album can't be Bacon Street, Eric left so it can't get that masterful again, but this song just comes off as an attempt at airplay. They lost their focus with this song.

On how it happened, no one knows. But, while I love Les, You can't compare any of them, due them being different in style.

I love Primus, but they are all different. Flea is more traditional and funky, whereas Les is self taught and experimental with his bass. Both know how to throw doen a mean line, but have different approaches to things like intros and solos.

This was officially my first Primus song. I heard it when playing THPS, but I never forgot it due to that bass. Fast forward to 8th grade, I rediscover primus, and become a lifelong fan

PRIMUS SUCKS!!!!

Primus – De Anza Jig Lyrics 12 years ago
Personally, I always connected this song to The Air is Getting Slippery. In that song, he references a friend from high school, a drug dealer. This is more remembrance of the days in that same high school.

Got this album last Christmas, played it to death.
