I also thought that one of the two friends in this song may be the "mute" one, from Mute song. The last line "you barely talked and I didn't mind" would suggest that, considering in Mute, there is line "to hear the only words that I know"... ... but who knows :) Its those little connections between songs that I love so much about Ben's music. |
