It seems to be a song about 2 people who are cheating in their relationships to be together "Now you're here again with me I can't believe If it’s just something if we do In spite of efforts to be true " they cheat and maybe it is because they don't really want to be in their relationships "Making time for ourselves And other selves" being with each other then being with their other person they could also have once been a couple, broke it off and now are cheating to be together and he wishes they were like how they were before or no cheating and they were just together before and now they are back together and he wants the relationship to be as it were, like just resuming back were they left off. |

| Why is everyone bent out of shape about if this song possibly having something to do with God? Just because someone believes in God doesn't mean they are religious. And what if this song is a mix of many meaning. . . songs can have multiple meanings. It seems like the song is about loving a person, accepting that person, accepting death, and accepting that after death there might be something more. | |
